The old seal of the village shows a bushel of ear. This seal looks old-fashioned and seemed to be in use since the days of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. It documents the main source of the income of the people - agriculture. The seal also documents that corn was mainly cultivated on the surrounding fields.
The seal was in use definitely until 1924 ,perhaps later. The 4rd decade of the 20th century saw another seal - the bohemian lion. The seal was then written in German and Czech. (in English: “Local administration Hackelhöf/Haklovy Dvory”)
