Hackelhöf      Haklovy Dvory

This are the - unofficial - Internetpages of the tiny village Hackelhöf (Haklovy Dvory) where Germans and Czechs lived together peacefully for centuries. They are supposed to document the history of the 20th century until 1946 and are explicitly dedicated to all residents of that village - the present and the former.
But those shall also not be forgotten who once lived here and made their contributions to the community of that village!

This documentation starts with the mayors and the members of the municipal council, following other persons of public interest, neutral told historic events, listings of the residents and the pupils.

The pages are the result of a painful struggle for information.Often there weren’t any available due to destruction in the past decades. Great hopes after the discovery of new sources switched with nearly great frustrations. But it was also enjoyable when unexpected help was offered.
These internet pages are as fragmentary as my available sources. What is left is the hope for new fragments of this great puzzle.
I would like to thank all persons and organisations who helped me. Included are thanks for the help of Czech citizens and organisations.
